Celebrity Solstice

Celebrity Solstice is one of Celebrity Cruises newest ships. The ship is the first ship of the Solstice class. By the end of 2012 there will be five Solstice class ships in the Celebrity fleet. Celebrity Solstice is 122,000 gross tons making it Celebrity's biggest ship and one of the largest ships in world. The 1,033 ft long ship carries 2,850 passengers at a speed of 24 knots. Celebrity Solstice features new unique amenities unlike any cruise ship on the water. The Lawn Club is a live grass lawn on the ships upper deck. During the day passengers can play a variety of lawn games on this section of the ship. This section of the ship also features a glassblowing show/demonstration that gives out their glass art. The ship also has a wide variety of dining options, including a high end Italian restaurant on the back of the ship. The pool deck even has a fountain built into the deck. Like the rest of Celebrity's fleet Celebrity Solstice has some of the best food on the water, as well as some of the most helpful and friendly crew around. Celebrity Solstice defiantly worth going on.
